P1 Final

This project was dedicated to the improvement of our understanding of how to establish hierarchy on a page. We learned how color, size and weight can be used to guide the eye down a page and how to manipulate the eye to see what the designer wants them to see. We learned how to use all of these typographic elements to visually communicate to the reader what is important and what information is tied together.

I was definitely challenged by this project. Typography is not one of my strongest talents, so I normally have to explore longer than most to be able to come up with a quality project. If I could have done one thing differently I would be to not edit a Phase 3 out of a Phase 2 without saving both separately so that I could have shown more for my explorations. I would have also taken better care of my files and made sure that I actually saved them after I printed. I overall liked this project. I feel like I am making improvements on how I convey meanings through type.
