Project 1 Summary
Project 1 was good practice in using the grid. Being given limitations allowed more freedom to make the right decisions in creating hierarchy. Adding more freedom gradually provided a nice and steady improvement through exploration all along the way. By phase 3, I knew which parts of the text were important and which should be subordinate. Most importantly, I learned that hierarchy and grid systems are not hard and fast rules, but guides that lend themselves to creating the best work.
