P1: FINAL

Project Summary : For this project we explored the makings of layouts through using a grid. The grid teaches you how to keep type organized and keep things looking awesome. We experimented with different type font, size, and color. We had three differnet phases. In phase one we used the simple method of cut and paste. We experimented with cutting out word and taping them on girds. It really helped you get comfortable with the grid system. In phase two we moved onto the computer working in indesign. We could experiment with color and got a little more room for imagination. In phase three we got to experiment with multiple colors, line weights, and text size.
How I feel about it : This project was difficult for me mainly because it was my first project without blackboard I had trouble getting organized and knowing the tasks I was spouse to be doing. Other than that the actual project I enjoyed. I enjoyed having to use my imagination. I always thought I like going crazy with my work but this project made me realize that I tend to stick to simpler layouts. I learned something new in every phase. I learned about color, organization, imagination, simplicity. Overall I had a good time with this project. It was simple but taught me so much.
My favorite layout was the salmon color one. I liked this because it was witty. If you look at he letters I made grey they spell out type. I always have liked pieces that you have too look close into to find another meaning.
