[P1]: Final

Elements of Typography Project Brief:

In this project, I was asked to experiment with typography as visual elements in a two dimensional composition and as information that represents hierarchy. I explored many compositions to understand how to create a clear visual hierarchy that adheres to a given modular grid. Through four stages of set restrictions, I designed fourty five layouts that explored, analyzed and examined the given text. I was asked to classify the text into three levels of importance; dominate, sub-dominant and subordinate. The task was to organize the text in a way that simplifies and clarifies the information, encouraging the viewer to read it in a pre-determined and logical manner. Overall I really enjoyed this project because it was my first time focusing only on typography and hierarchy and I learned a lot about it in a short amount of time. I know I will use what I learned from this project in future layouts and design.
