The steps of this project were to 1. use fontstruct® to create a typeface then, 2. develop a content-rich, analogue/print specimen to persuade the recipient to ultimately use your typeface. We were supposed to consider the audience as typeface-loving professionals conversant in basic typography and design.
I liked this project from the very beginning. It was challenging and also very enjoyable. I struggled with making a poster design that matched my castle idea at first but, I think my final turned out quite nicely.
Defining keywords:
Gothic - pertaining to or designating the style from the middle ages or medieval
Unique - being the only one of its kind
Complex - consisting of many different and connected parts
