so you can't seem to get the right model, lighting and/or environment to come together for that "perfect" portfolio shot? heck, why not download and use a free photoshop mock-up file? indeed...download and use 'em. the challenge will be to find/use a mock-up file that closely matches your design proportions (also called: aspect ratio). and...keep in mind that there are probably about 6 million other people using the same file. so if differentiation matters, make yours different in some way. also: consider using a mock-up file in addition to others you take—eg: sequence of opening, close-ups of interesting and awe-inspiring features and details. mock-ups are available through the adobe creative cloud® as well others like this right here.
