This typography project emphasized hierarchy. We were given four lines of text and three different phases, each with their own rules and restrictions. Each phase allowed more flexibility and creativity. We were pushed to be creative within the confinements we were given and to use hierarchy to tell the viewer what was important. Within each of these phases we made 15 layouts using the grid were given. The third phase of this project seemed the easiest as we were allowed to lock text into any corner, use three sizes, and three weights. It carried its own challenges as it felt like I had arranged this text 100 times already and couldn't possibly think of another solution, although somehow I did. Here are my final three for the
